The BonFeu Foodbumper is a simple accessory designed to make plancha cooking a bit easier. Fitted onto your BonBiza or BonBowl with an Ø80cm plancha, it creates a raised steel edge that helps stop food from sliding into the fire while you cook.
It is especially useful for smaller or rounder ingredients that tend to move about more on a hot plate, such as tomatoes, mushrooms or sliced vegetables. Because BonFeu planchas gently slope toward the centre, food can naturally start to drift inward during cooking. The Foodbumper helps stop that happening without getting in the way of the rest of the cooking surface.
One of the nice things about the design is that it still keeps cleaning straightforward. You can still scrape food residue and oil underneath the ring and into the fire, so it adds control without making the plancha harder to maintain.
If you cook regularly on a BonBiza or compatible BonBowl, the Foodbumper is a genuinely useful extra. It is simple, practical and makes the whole cooking experience feel a bit more controlled.
